Caquelon paper cutout 20 cm

What makes Aebi pottery products so original? Carefully selected colors, shapes, and patient handcraftsmanship. With over 100 years of experience in ceramic production, they present select pieces, such as this fondue pot in a traditional design.

Ceramic is an excellent heat conductor, ensuring that the cheese stays warm for a long time. As this product is handmade, slight variations in shape and material may occur.

Usage and Care:

Heat the cheese mixture over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes. Increase the temperature as needed and bring the fondue to a boil, stirring constantly.

Once bubbles begin to form, the cheese has melted, and the pot can be placed on the fondue burner.

Do not tap the stirring spoon and fork on the side of the pot while preparing or eating.

To prevent the fondue from burning, we recommend using an aluminum saucer. This is placed between the caquelon and the burner to ensure even heat distribution and protect the caquelon.

Reduce the burner`s power to a medium setting.

After use, fill the caquelon with cold water and let it stand briefly to make removing cheese residue easier (do not leave it in the water bath). Then, the caquelon can be easily cleaned with dish soap and a soft brush. After cleaning, let it dry upside down for 24 hours.

The caquelon is not dishwasher safe.

Small hairline cracks in the glaze ensure the caquelon`s high resistance to temperature fluctuations. These hairline cracks are more visible on light-colored glazes and become more pronounced with repeated use.
