Schellen-Ursli Bag

Schellen-Ursli adorns this beautiful tote bag and is happy to help you carry your everyday essentials. The tote bag is printed on both the front and back and has a sewn-in base. The handle is longer than shown in the picture, so the bag can be comfortably carried over the shoulder.

Alois Carigiet (born August 30, 1902, in Trun, Graubünden; died August 1, 1985, in Trun) was known for his work as a Swiss painter, illustrator, lithographer, and children`s book author. Three of his best-known picture books are: `Schellen-Ursli`, `Der große Schnee` (The Great Snow), and `Flurina und das Wildvögelein` (Flurina and the Wild Bird). The book `Schellen-Ursli`, written by Selina Chönz, in particular, brought him national fame. The Engadine connection to nature and landscape is ever-present in Alois Carigiet`s drawings. The unique Carigiet paintings now also adorn the home textile collection from Balsiger Textil.
