The Schweizer Heimatwerk

In 1930, the Schweizer Heimatwerk was founded by the Swiss Farmers' Association on behalf of the Federal Council. The aim was to market the products that the mountain farming population produced at home during the winter months. In November 1931, the Swiss Heimatwerk was converted into a non-profit cooperative. The Heimatwerk has been represented at Zurich Airport since 1953 and is still not a bit tired.

Today, the Schweizer Heimatwerk is a modern retail store: Local handicrafts and souvenirs are offered in five of its own branches. In addition to selected, high-quality products, customers expect comprehensive advice from the competent sales staff. With the sale of Swiss products, the Swiss Heimatwerk makes a contribution to the preservation of local manufactories and studios.
