Since 1985, traditional engobe ceramics have been hand-thrown at the Mösching pottery. The characteristic dots are not painted, but rather applied to the base color using a slip-tapping tool. This requires utmost concentration. The ceramics are then fired at over 1000 degrees Celsius and are therefore dishwasher safe.
