Fondue Caquelon Schellen-Ursli (induction) Ø 20 cm
This traditional hand-painted caquelon is made by hand from high-quality ceramic and creates a homely atmosphere on your dining table.
Each caquelon is unique and is hand-painted in Switzerland according to the drawings of the famous Swiss painter Alois Carigiet.
The caquelon is suitable for all types of stoves, including induction.
Ceramic is a good heat store and ensures that the cheese stays warm for a long time.
Since our products are made by hand, they may have small deviations in shape and material.

Hotplate diameter: 16 cm
Country of manufacture: Switzerland
Use and care
Heat the cheese mixture on medium heat for approx. 5 minutes. Increase the temperature if necessary and bring the fondue to the boil while stirring constantly.
Do not use the power setting on an induction stove. When the first bubbles form, the cheese has melted and the fondue pot can be placed on the table stove.
When preparing or eating, do not tap the stirring ladle and fork on the edge of the fondue pot.
To prevent the fondue from burning, we recommend using an aluminum disc. This is placed between the caquelon and the rechaud to achieve even heat distribution and to protect the caquelon.
Reduce the power of the rechaud burner to a medium level.
After use, leave the caquelon filled with cold water for a short time to make it easier to remove cheese residue (do not leave it in a water bath). The caquelon can then be easily cleaned with washing-up liquid and a soft brush. After cleaning, leave it to dry for 24 hours with the base facing upwards.
The caquelon is not dishwasher safe.
Small hairline cracks in the glaze ensure that the caquelon is highly resistant to temperature changes. With light glazes, the hairline crack structures are more visible and become more pronounced after repeated use.
