Reuge Robusto music box (humidor)

This opulent Robusto was made specifically for a humidor. Made from the rare Amboyna burl wood, it is the ideal accessory for a well-appointed bachelor pad. After you have played all the tunes - a mix of classical and contemporary pieces from Gershwin to The Clash - it automatically returns to its starting position with a CH 3.72 movement. Made with the same timeless craftsmanship as a luxury watch, you will cherish this music box forever.

The members of the James Bond Club have been eyeing it for a few months now. The choice is yours and you can still be Goldfinger and grab the box.

'Reuge Music' is the most well-known manufacturer of exclusive Swiss music boxes, songbird boxes, musical pocket watches and related products.

The history of Reuge goes back to 1865, when Charles Reuge opened his first musical pocket watch shop in Sainte-Croix (Switzerland).

In 1886, his son Albert Reuge opened a musical box workshop in Sainte-Croix. He soon transformed the workshop into a small factory producing musical mechanisms.

As a leader in the mechanical music industry, Reuge musical mechanisms were used in a wide variety of objects, such as powder compacts and lighters.

From 1930, under the leadership of Guido Reuge, the company built a new factory and expanded, partly by taking over other companies such as the songbird manufacturers Bontems (Paris), Eschle (Germany), and the record box division of Thorens (Switzerland).

Today, Reuge is the only company that masters the entire spectrum of mechanical music.
